Natal chart
Enter your birth date, time (if known) and place. Coordinates and the historical time zone are found automatically.
What does a natal chart contain?
A natal chart is a map of the sky at the time and place of your birth. It places the Sun, Moon and planets in the twelve signs and twelve houses, and links planets through aspects (conjunction, square, trine…).
The Sun describes your identity, the Moon your emotions, the Ascendant how you approach the world. Together they draw a symbolic portrait, not a destiny.
Why time and place matter
The Ascendant changes sign about every two hours, and houses depend on the exact time. Without a birth time, the site computes everything that remains reliable (planet signs) and warns that the Moon may have changed sign during the day.
The place’s historical time zone is applied automatically, including past daylight-saving changes.
Placidus, whole sign, tropical, sidereal
Placidus is the most common house system in the West; whole sign gives equal 30° houses from the Ascendant sign. The tropical zodiac (default) is tied to the seasons; the sidereal (Lahiri) to the fixed stars, mostly used in Vedic astrology.
FAQ
Is the chart really computed?
Yes. Positions come from an ephemeris engine (Astronomy Engine) and houses from a calculation checked against independent astronomical functions. Nothing is random.
What if I do not know my birth time?
Leave it empty. You will get planet signs without Ascendant or houses. A birth certificate or the town hall can often provide the time.
Is my data stored?
No: it is used for the calculation and not saved in a database. See the privacy policy.
Astronoria offers a symbolic reading intended for personal reflection. Planetary positions are computed; the interpretation is neither a certain prediction nor medical, legal or financial advice.
